Albion One was recorded at the world famous Hall at AIR Studios London, so it contains plenty of natural room reverb. It features a 109-piece orchestra, accompanied by a percussion section. Spitfire Audio Albion OneĪlbion One is Spitfire’s most well-known orchestral library. It’s a jungle in kontakt, but mess around a bit and you’ll find some really nice organic trap material.Companies like Spitfire Audio, Cinesamples, Output, Sample Logic, and more, all produce fantastic libraries for a number of different applications. Past that, it’s just the FX you layer on them - for example, throw some simple delay that isn’t too aggressive w/ some extra reverb on a stabby stringed instrument, and you get a really nice trap-sounding melody. Finally, their vintage section has some nice organs which are also great trap pads - just mess with a few until you find a sound you like. I’d recommend compressing whatever pad you choose with your percussion (sidechaining) to create some room but still keeping that background noise there. For pads, try out some of the choir section options. The symphony section should have some good trappy brass - trombones that have been super saturated/distorted are a common trap tactic and sound awesome. I’m going to butcher the names here because I’m not in front of my computer, but in their orchestral set (Vienna is possibly the name) try out some cellos set to staccato or pizzicato for that sharp sound depending on if you want stabs or pluckiness respectively. There’s a goldmine in kontakt 5 for trap, you may just have to play around a bit. Proper feedback is not "Dope track bro, k do me next." Try to give constructive criticism.
